2021 League Announcement

We’re really excited to announce plans for a 5 race mini series to take place later this year, starting with the Prestwold 10k hosted by the wonderful Barrow Runners in June.

As you can imagine, there is still a lot of work to take place for all these events to go ahead, and with the best will in the world we still don’t know how Covid guidance will develop over the coming months so we have to be prepared for more changes yet, BUT we have every intention of delivering a fantastic competition for our brilliant clubs and runners to take part in 2021.

The league officers will be meeting in the next couple of weeks to work out the finer details of competition for results, scoring and prizes etc. We will share this with you once we have news to share.

Planned schedule:-

Race 1 – Prestwold 10k (Barrow Runners) – 27 June 2021
Race 2 – Joy Cann 5 (Huncote Harriers) – Date TBC
Race 3 – Launde 6 (Wreake & SV) – 22 August 2021
Race 4 – Desford 5 (Desford Striders) – 5 September 2021
Race 5 – Rotherby 8 (Wreake/Anstey) – 26 September 2021
